idOil-20 is an alarm system which is intended for monitoring liquid levels, especially in Oil, Gasoline and Sand separators. The system consists of an idOil control unit for wall mounting and idOil sensors with standard 5mt cable which are installed in the separator. The sensor cables can be extended with a junction box. Up to three different types of sensors can be connected to the control unit which can be used to detect the following:
- Oil layer thickness (idOil-OIL oil sensor)
- High liquid level (idOil-LIQ backwater sensor)
- Sludge layer thickness (idOil-SLU sludge sensor)
The LED indicator lights of the device indicate alarms and errors from the sensor.
In alarm and fault situations, the buzzer will indicate an alarm and the potential-free relays will be switched to the alarm position.
The relays are of the failsafe type, which means that they also go into alarm state when the power supply fails.
The idOil sensors and cable are EX standard and may be installed in a potentially explosive atmosphere.
